Walking Tour
An alternative city tour through the most important and picturesque places of Havana city within three days, having every day a different ambiance depending on the kind of places you will be discovering.

Overview

Day 1 (Old Havana)

Having the main entrance of the Capitolio building as the pickup point, your adventure will start by walking down along the crowded and cobblestoned Obispo street until the Ambos Mundos Hotel to visit the former suite of Ernest Hemingway.
Later, the majestic Catedral de La Habana (Havana Cathedral) will give you a warm welcome with the native sound of the Bodeguita del Medio to taste a delicious Mojito.
Another interesting stop will be at the Plaza de Armas, a second-hand book and handicraft fair located exactly on the former heart of the country, surrounded by some other historical buildings.
Keeping on walking through the narrow streets of the Old Havana you will be headed to the Plaza San Francisco known as the Dove’s Square just in front of the wharf.
For relaxing time, Feria de los Artesanos (handicraft market) will be perfect as the last step of this day. There you will be able to admire and buy plenty of souvenirs and Cuban artists’ works, refreshing you with natural coconut milk. That is the perfect moment to take a ride on a vintage car towards El Castillo del Morro (colonial fortress) on the other side of the city to have the best view from the top and enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants nearby.

Day 2 (Modern Havana)

This second day will lead you around the modern area of the city, starting at the entrance of the Universidad de La Habana and touring inside of it, then just two blocks away, you will find magic in the Museo Napoleónico, such an incredible place.
Afterwards, you will be amazed by the majesty and beauty of the terrace of the iconic Hotel Nacional with the best ocean view you would ever imagine, surrounded by a couple of peacocks. A delicious lunch at the roof of Cafe Laurent restaurant will mark the half of the journey in the vicinity of El Vedado.
After that, you are commissioned to meet John Lennon at his place, at John Lennon park in the heart of Vedado town, riding a vintage car as if you were living in the 50’s, to end up the day by visiting one of the most outstanding architectonic beauties of the country, the Necrópolis de Colon (famous cemetery) in order to fill your spirit of peace and admire the greatness of that place.

Day 3 (City´s outskirts)

After two days of busy schedules, a relaxing and refreshing tour around the outskirts places is the perfect option to round off the three days in a row journey, then a nice vintage car will pick you up at the main entrance of Universidad de La Habana and take you all the places, starting by the popular project of Fusterland, in the western part of the city, showing a unique decorative style and the imbrication of the society with the cultural projects, passing by the Marina Hemingway.
Our country is known worldwide because of many things including its amazing weather, flora and fauna. Then, a visit to the Jardín Botánico Nacional (national garden) will be a highlight in your experience: the biggest exhibition fair of the country just in front of to finish your trip.

The entrance fees for the museums and historical places are about $2-$8 CUC per person. The rest of the places are free.

Additional Information

Transportation: A vintage car in very good condition will take you everywhere around the city. Transportation has to be paid outside of the price per service straight to the driver.

The duration of the experience is 6 hours each day.
